U.S. deficit clock 'now ticking loudly' after S&P downgrade

S&P hits U.S. Standard & Poor`s dropped a bombshell into the U.S. budget debate today, downgrading the outlook for America`s debt to "negative" from "stable" and raising the stakes markedly. `There have been rumblings about the U.S. credit rating for the past two years, and Moody`s warned earlier this year that the rating could be downgraded if progress is not soon made on the $1.5-trillion budget deficit,`` said Douglas Porter, deputy chief economist at BMO Nesbitt Burns. `Still, the S&P move serves as a stark warning for policy makers to take stronger, concerted action to address the shortfall,`` Mr. Porter said in a research note after the move by the U.S. credit rating agency. `The clock is now ticking loudly on a meaningful plan to reduce the budget deficit, with S&P looking for implementation by 2013. That looks to be an...

Was JFK killed because of his interest in aliens? Secret memo shows president demanded UFO files 10 days before death

An uncovered letter written by John F Kennedy to the head of the CIA shows that the president demanded to be shown highly confidential documents about UFOs 10 days before his assassination. The secret memo is one of two letters written by JFK asking for information about the paranormal on November 12 1963, which have been released by the CIA for the first time. Author William Lester said the CIA released the documents to him under the Freedom of Information Act after he made a request while researching his new book 'A Celebration...

New DNC chief: Screen sales of all guns

The new head of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is pushing for screenings of all gun purchases. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz said the current law, which allows private firearm sales without background checks, is "outrageous." The Florida Democrat is sponsoring a soon-to-be-released proposal extending the screening requirements to all gun purchases, commercial or private. "It is outrageous that gun buyers evade the background check system every day, even in broad daylight," Wasserman Schultz said Monday at a gun reform...

Will Comet Elenin fulfill 2012 apocalypse prophecy?

It's nearly 300 million miles away and barreling toward us. The intruder from deep space, called called comet Elenin, crosses Earth's orbit on its inbound leg and again on its outbound swing around the sun later this year. Russian astronomer Leonid Elenin discovered the innocuous little comet on Dec. 10, 2010, at International Scientific Optical Network's robotic observatory near Mayhill, New Mexico. Presently the comet is a faint smudge of light in deep sky exposures. By late August comet Elenin should be visible to the naked eye as a dim "fuzzy star"...

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said the number evacuated had increased to 1,375 as of Saturday from four towns near Taal volcano, while seismologists recorded 10 volcanic earthquakes overnight. Water temperatures and gas emissions also increased, seismologists said. 'This large rise in CO2 (carbon dioxide) concentration...

5.3 aftershock jangles nerves

For a moment they are all happy, sipping their wedding wine, relaxed and chatting. Then it strikes and the terrified looks on their faces say it all: please, not again. People look at each other in disbelief, while others try to get under tables. There are groans of resignation and shrieks of fear. Video taken at a wedding reception in Christchurch on Saturday shows the immediate impact of the 5.3 magnitude aftershock which struck at 5.49pm. Wedding photographer Jared Waddams said he had received positive feedback about the...

World Bank president: 'One shock away from crisis’

The president of the World Bank has warned that the world is "one shock away from a full-blown crisis". Robert Zoellick cited rising food prices as the main threat to poor nations who risk "losing a generation". He was speaking in Washington at the end of the spring meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. Meanwhile, G20 finance chiefs, who also met in Washington, pledged financial support to help new governments in the Middle East and North Africa. Mr Zoellick said such support was vital. "The crisis in the Middle East and...

Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa dump the Dollar

The BRICS nations, Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa are taking shots at the dollar again. At the end of recently concluding meeting in China, their development banks agreed to open credit lines denominated in their own currencies rather than the world's reserve currency, the US dollar. The plan was announced in the backdrop of a weak dollar something the BRIC nations fear will erode the value of their foreign exchange reserves held mostly in the US currency. This isn't the first time these countries have called for an alternative...

The Donald soars to top of Republican race by challenging Obama’s legitimacy to be in the White House

Donald Trump’s potential candidacy for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination has forced the issue of whether Barack Obama was born in America into the mainstream, a question the establishment media has been frantically avoiding. Mr. Trump is demanding the president reveal his long-form birth certificate. The real estate mogul believes Mr. Obama is deliberately withholding embarrassing or damaging information. He has ridden the birth controversy to the top of the GOP field. Many polls have Mr. Trump in second place, just behind former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. Clearly, his message is resonating with large segments of the Republican base. Even some liberals, such as MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, are calling for Mr. Obama to release his birth records. Hawaii’s Democratic Gov. Neil...

Mormon Mitt to The Donald: Obama (a.k.a. Barry Soetoro) doesn’t need a birth certificate!

According to Romney family lawyers it doesn't matter if Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, Kenya, or even Paris: Because his mother was an American (and not even Donald Trump questions that), he is eligible to be President. The Romney lawyers investigated this question in the 1960s, when Mitt Romney's father, Governor George Romney of Michigan, was vying for the Republican presidential nomination. George Romney had been born in a Mormon colony in Chihuahua, Mexico, as his grandfather moved there with his wives in the 1880s after...

This issue was urgently raised in recent Saudi-US talks – first on April 4...

Babel tower of 21st century? Saudi Arabia to build world’s tallest building - 1 MILE HIGH

When UAE’s 828 meter tall Burj Khalifa opened last year, the world was shocked at its tremendous size, while some had doubts about its safety. However, the world’s attention towards the tower may not last for long as an even larger one, which is exactly a mile in height, is to be built in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Royal family recently announced its bold plan to construct a 1.6km tall “Kingdom Tower,” according to news reports. At that height, it would take approximately 12 minutes to reach its peak by elevator. Kingdom Holding Company,..

Study Suggests Feds Could Recoup Billions in Unpaid Taxes by Withholding Passports

Owe thousands in back taxes and need to get out of the country? No problem. Under current law, the State Department can't withhold a passport over unpaid taxes. But that could change, if lawmakers decide to run with the findings of a new government report that suggests Uncle Sam could recoup billions by blocking delinquent Americans from getting passports until they settle their debts to the IRS. The Government Accountability Office, at the request of Congress, released a study Monday examining how the government could leverage the passport...

Banks facing $3.6 trillion 'wall of maturing debt', IMF Global Financial Stability Report says

Many European banks need bigger capital cushions to restore market confidence and help reduce the risk of another financial crisis, according to the IMF's report, published on Wednesday. Banks around the world are facing a $3.6 trillion "wall of maturing debt" coming due in the next two years, and the rollover requirements are most acute for Irish and German banks, the report said. "These bank funding needs coincide with higher sovereign refinancing requirements, heightening competition for scarce funding resources," the IMF said. However the IMF said Spain's efforts to control its budget deficit have increased investor confidence and make it unlikely the country will follow Portugal in calling for a bail-out. "The actions that have been taken in Spain recently have managed to decouple in the views of markets the...

"This is education for Zionism and Judaism without education for democracy and peace, and it promotes ultra-nationalism," said University of Haifa Prof. Gavriel Solomon, an Israel Prize winner in...

Disturbing and frightening coincidence! Loud rumbling noise in Florida eerily similar to disappearing village in China!

In March this year The Big Wobble posted a video showing disturbing "loud rumbling noises" coming from the Tallahassee area in Florida, within days similar reports where coming in from all over the US.

Tornadoes, underground drilling, HAARP, jet engines and earthquakes where all being blamed for the noise but could it be something much more sinister all together?

When I first heard the rumbling noise in the video I had a strange nagging feeling I had heard it before, I had! In October last year I posted a video with a YAHOO News link, of an entire Chinese village disappearing while under attack by UFOs. I have posted both videos below and you can judge yourself the two videos sound eerily similar, could the rumbling noises heard in the US be UFO related?
