THIS WAS A CONVERSATION I HEARD (the one who runs this blog)
---->>>I went to the County court house, to put new plates on my car. This is what I believe I heard in a conversation between A - ATF Officer and a Officer from the Sheriff Dept. This is what believe I heard in there conversation. I was standing about ten foot away- Deputy of the Sheriff asked do you know when they might come for the guns. The ATF Officer said sorry I don't know, we are the last ones to know. I had to then move forward in the line, I was the last in the line that was out the door. I tried to listen to anything else. As far as what I heard that was all. I believe God let me hear what was said. I wasn't surprised only that I could hear the conversation. I knew who was who- Sheriff- He was in his dress, ATF - Officer was in street clothes, the Sheriff had asked how was the ATF.
---UPDATE---This comes from a former police officer-- The context of the court room might have something to do with the conversation you heard. When a person is convicted of a felony, they forsake the right to own firearms. Consequently, the ATF is the agency which seizes them from the person convicted. Typically they don't pay too much attention to an individual who has perhaps a single gun such as a hunting rifle. But if someone is reputed to own several of firearms, especially assault rifles, then this grabs ATF's interest and they will come to the house and seize the weapons.Hope this helps.
