Strongest Quake Felt 200 MIles Away
SAN DIEGO (AP) -- A swarm of earthquakes rattled a large area of Southern California over the weekend, centered in a desert area east of San Diego. But there are no reports of any damage or injuries.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the largest quake in the series -- a magnitude 4.9 -- struck about 8:08 p.m. Saturday about 10 miles north of Borrego Springs.
