BIOMETRICS - SIMILARITIES TO BIBLICAL PROPHECY

There are many differing views on biblical prophecy, but when an event occurs that is so strikingly similar to biblical prophecy, its similarities must be considered. To many Christians, biometric identification, (ex. facial recognition, fingerprint imaging, hand-vein recognition, etc.) could be accurately described as an enrollment process for the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-18). Biometric ID, at the minimum, represents an end to freedom, a tool of persecution, and the creation of a surveillance society.
What are the similarities between biometrics and biblical prophecy?
“And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead, and he provides that no one should be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.” Rev 13:16-18 (NAS)
.."If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or upon his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God”.. Rev 14:9b-10a (NAS)
BIOMETRIC ID IS INTERNATIONAL ID, APPLYING TO “ALL” (Rev 13:16)
Total global biometric enrollment is the goal, and almost all three elements for that goal, are in place:
Enrollment – (driver licenses, passports, etc., linked to financial data, i.e., Soc. Sec. No.)
International standards to facilitate global sharing of personal-biometric-financial data
Globally linked government/corporate databases (surveillance, control and data sharing)
