Proverbs 22:3 NLT

A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

We had one really bad storm in Cheyenne, Wy. Flooding/hail - Our garden was destroyed. Hail was about the size of a golf ball in the bigger sizes 6 PM MST 7-12-11 - We had about 1 1/2 in 30 min.

Hammered by hail - CHEYENNE -- Hail as big as golf balls strafed Cheyenne early Tuesday evening and a funnel cloud was spotted east of the city as a summer thunderstorm descended on southeast Wyoming. The storm damaged cars and airplanes in the Capital City, caused power outages, and covered lawns and streets with a frozen summer blanket that resembled the aftermath of a snowstorm in some locations.
Dave Hefenieder, a Cheyenne employee, uses a pitch fork to unclog a storm drain at the intersection of 23rd Street and Bradley Avenue on Tuesday in Cheyenne. Cheyenne received 1.46 inches of rain between 5:15 and 5:50 p.m., according to the National Weather Service along with hail up to golf ball size. James Brosher/staff - By Becky Orr

We had our trees torn up from the hail, potted plants that had gaping holes that went through the pot, I now have to replace them. Pine needles and pine cones litter my patio and yard as well. One person I know had their back window decimated by the hail.
