Proverbs 22:3 NLT

A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

As in the Days of Noah

E.T. by Katy Perry featuring Kanye West, Music Lyrics
[Katy Perry]
You’re so hypnotizing
Could you be the devilCould you be an angel
You’re touch magnetizing
Feels like I am floating
Leaves my body glowing
They say be afraid
You’re not like the others
Futuristic lover
Different DNA
They don’t understand you
You’re from a whole other world
A different dimension
You open my eyes
And I’m ready to go
Lead me into the light
Kiss me, ki-ki-kiss me
Infect me with your love and
Fill me with your poison
Take me, ta-ta-take me
Wanna be a victim
Ready for abduction
Boy, you’re an alienYour touch so foreign
It’s supernatural
Extraterrestrial
As in the Days of Noah

Texas School Punishes Boy for Opposing Homosexuality

An honors student in Fort Worth, Texas, was sent to the principal’s office and punished for telling a classmate that he believes homosexuality is wrong. Holly Pope said she was “absolutely stunned” when she received a telephone call from an assistant principal at Western Hills High School informing her that her son, Dakota Ary, had been sent to in-school suspension. “Dakota is a very well-grounded 14-year-old,” she told Fox News Radio noting that her son is an honors student, plays on the football team and is active in his church youth group. “He’s been in church his whole life and he’s been taught to stand up for what he believes.” And that’s what got him in trouble. Dakota was in a German class at the high school when the conversation shifted to religion and homosexuality in Germany. At some...

European banks head towards another meltdown

Shares in some of Europe's largest banks fell by 10pc as the cost of insuring European lenders' senior bonds rose to record levels, according to credit default swap prices. The Markit iTraxx Financial Index of contracts on the senior debt of 25 banks and insurers climbed to an all-time high 315.5 basis points. The last banking crisis was regarded by most eurozone members as an Anglo-Saxon phenomenon caused by lax lending controls that resulted in major UK and US institutions either collapsing or having to take costly state-funded bail-outs.

The triple murder was carried out by a lone gunman in less than thirty seconds using a 9mm pistol fitted with a silencer. The gunman pumped eleven bullets into the three men in a busy Istanbul street before speeding off in a black getaway car. One of the murdered men, 33-year-old Berg-Haj Musayev, was said to be close to Doku Umarov, an Islamist terrorist leader who is Russia's most wanted man. The other two were said to be his bodyguards.

Jewish residents of East Jerusalem say they fear Palestinian onslaught

Residents of Shimon Hatzadik, the Jewish enclave in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem, say they are ready to shoot at Palestinians if they try to overrun the compound in the wake of the Palestinian bid for statehood. Also since last week, two large guard dogs have been purchased for the El Ghawi house, where Jewish residents now live. The house is at the heart of the Jewish-Arab conflict in Sheikh Jarrah. Daycare centres use GPS to track children

Daycare centres in Sweden have started using GPS systems and other electronic tracking devices to keep tabs on children during excursions - a practice that has raised ethical and practical questions. Some parents are worried day care centres will use the technology to replace staff. Others wonder whether getting children used to being under surveillance could affect their idea of privacy when they grow older. Monica Blank-Hedqvist, the principal of a daycare centre in the city of Borlange told The Associated Press Wednesday her...
