Cameras at petrol stations will automatically stop uninsured or untaxed vehicles from being filled with fuel, under new government plans. The Philadelphia Police Department has joined Penn’s Division of Public Safety in creating a 24-hour emergency surveillance center. Now one of about 10 cities in the nation with a real-time crime center, Philadelphia installed a surveillance center in the lobby of their police headquarters at 8th and Race streets. Three Ontario women are suing U.S. border guards for alleging groping, fondling and mocking them during random strip searches. Two lawsuits were filed Tuesday in Michigan, one on behalf of Leslie Ingratta from Windsor, and another on behalf of two women from Windsor and Milton who wish to remain anonymous. In a major setback for George Osborne ahead of next week’s Budget, Fitch said the “risks and uncertainty” surrounding the Coalition’s debt reduction plans were “material”.
