But more countries, including Britain, Australia and France, are reporting instances of gonorrhea that are impervious to cephalosporin antibiotics -- the drugs normally used to snuff out the most serious cases. “We certainly are worried about importation of resistance,” Dr. Gail Bolan, director of.../

Denmark's church minister, Manu Sareen, called the vote "historic". "I think it's very important to give all members of the church the possibility to get married. Since then the bizarre phenomenon gone has rapidly got out of control. There are now so many dead fish that locals in the town in Isumi City, Chiba Prefecture, are having to truck the rotting remains to landfills. And yet still more dead sardines keep washing up on shore.../

Ring of babies found 'sacrificed' to ancient gods in 1,000-year-old Peruvian tomb
A horrifying site greeted archeologists who broke into an ancient Peruvian tomb - a ring of buried babies who appear to have been killed in ritual sacrifices. In total, 80 bodies were discovered in the 60 foot-long oval chamber in Pachacamac, about 20 miles south of the capital, Lima. Inside were a dozen newborn babies and infants, each buried around the perimeter, with their heads pointing towards the tomb. Beyond these bodies, a further 70 skeletons and mummies - all in the fetal position - were lying around, most of them...he U.S. Geological Survey reported the quake struck at 11:03 a.m. local time and was centered about 73 miles northwest of Arequipa. It had a depth of about 62 miles deep.
