Proverbs 22:3 NLT

A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

Israelis scramble for gas masks as Syria deteriorates

Israel’s gas mask distribution centers are reporting a significant rise in the number of civilians seeking protection against chemical weapons. Over the past two days distribution centers gave out 3,700gas mask kits each day, Maariv reported Wednesday. By comparison, since the beginning of February 2010 the distribution centers, located in post offices and malls around the country, distributed kits to about 2,200 people a day. Despite the surge in interest, sources said there are still plenty of gas masks in stock. So far the government has given out...

Chinese buying of U.S. business at record pace

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Chinese direct investment in the United States could hit a record high in 2012, according to a new research report released Wednesday. UNITED NATIONS – The arms trade treaty being hammered out by the United Nations is nearing completion, and the current draft shows it could lead to perpetual attacks on the U.S. Constitution’s Second Amendment and American foreign policy, critics say. The document, which critics say has been framed by countries hostile to U.S. interests, allows for future amendments to be approved by just two-thirds of states showing up at an amendment conference. That means it could be agreed to by the U.S., put into effect and then...

Boston Mayor Blocks Chick-fil-A Franchise from City over Homophobic Attitude

The people of Boston will have to purchase their chicken sandwiches elsewhere: Mayor Thomas M.
