In the movie Cool Hand Luke the best remembered line was "What we have here is a failure to communicate." Applying that intent to the political climate, the line could be paraphrased as "What we have here is a failure in leadership."
The failure in leadership belongs to Washington and every other alleged Judeo-Christian country in the world because it cannot or will not identify the current terrorist enemy as Islamic due to political correctness. Are Buddhists attacking average people around the world? No. How about Hindus? Maybe Christians? Scientologists? Jews? It is no coincidence that the assaults are Islamic in nature.
Then the people who point to the targets of the terror and proclaim them as the bad guys are enabling and abetting in the terrorist attacks. The fact we have a President who seems bent on releasing Islamic terrorists because he wants the wars he inherited to be over isn't helping slow down the assaults.
The hesitancy politicians around the world show in naming the actual culprit as Islamic comes in two parts. The first is the populist stance that Islam is a religion and the second is the world's supposed reliance on oil produced from Arab controlled lands. Politicians are not equipped to handle the simple, unvarnished truth.
Islam, while it is a religion, is also much more. It is a form of government too. A government that directs lifestyles. As such, the politicians have created a problem by opening the doors to Muslims not just as immigrants but as refugees. In the current political climate a refugee has more rights than a citizen in America.
As a Christian, this is not the biggest threat presented by our politicians inability to see this 13-year assault for what it is. It is the fact the Quran approves rule by terror mainly through fear of bodily mutilation and somehow our elected officials continue to call the attackers 'radical.' It is a system built into the Islamic culture, a portion of which is religion.
Previously the Rant explained how every Muslim, American-born or not, should be required to register as a foreign agent simply because Islam intertwines the threads of religion and government.
Yet our local authorities and our own federal government agents, put into place to protect the average citizen, cannot proceed with this role or they are accused of 'targeting.' That's like saying the police responding to a bank robbery alarm have to detain everyone who uses the bank, works in the bank or has a credit card from the bank simply because to do otherwise would be targeting the person(s) who committed the robbery.
I get so incensed listening to the stumblebums being interviewed on TV or radio about the world situation I have to turn the device off because my urge is to do bodily harm to the babbler and as close as I can get to them is through my own personal property. Also the neighbors are beginning to complain the yelling is too much for them stand.
I do agree that the vast majority of Muslims are not violent. The unwelcome truth is neither the people of Japan nor the citizens of Germany wanted violence either. All it took was a few aggressive leaders among a flock a people who didn't want violence and we had a massive world war. Is that any different than what we have now except for the fact the Germans and Japanese did put uniforms on so you could be relatively sure you were fighting a soldier and not a civilian. Islamists don't do that so the whole society is guilty by default.
The solution is to have armed government representatives at every mosque. As someone tries to enter, the question has to be "Are you Muslim." A positive replies earns a one-way trip, self-paid for, out of the country, forever. Refusal to comply earns a bite of pig followed by death.
Until you have eliminated those within the Muslim government who support terrorism, the problem will not be eliminated. That was the same reason America joined the world wars of the last century. Liberty had nothing to do with the decision. Fear of safety did.
What is ironic is it was the fear of safety of our elected officials more than the safety of the "fellow Americans" they sent into harm's way that got us into the wars. If our government fell, they would have been out of a cushy job. Their action was to send others in their stead.
Unless our leadership gathers the courage to identify clearly and unequivocally the enemy of the reign of terror around the world as to the Islamic nature it is, it will be up to the average citizen to do the identifying for them. Then we have a crucial decision to follow the colonists and attack our government or the Muslim rot inside our country first.
But to act thus would put those individuals on the top of the government's hit list themselves. It is deliciously ironic but it is also a dour commentary on how far America has fallen since the "Greatest Generation" that we allow such spineless weasels to rule us. Then again, isn't that the same state the majority of Muslims are in now, just as the Germans and Japanese of 1930s were?
America, no the world, cannot stand forever on guard against an enemy it holds to its breast. You have to attain a degree of separation for some security.
We didn't hesitate to blow hundreds of thousands of opposing "nationalists" out of existence in war before. Why are we waiting now?
