Proverbs 22:3 NLT

A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

In the last few days and weeks, with relatively little public fanfare, radical legislation was enacted in New York City and Washington State to protect the rights of those who identify as transgender — at the cost of everyone else. And when I say "cost," I'm not exaggerating.
In New York, violation of these new laws could cost you up to $250,000 for a single offense.
What exactly do these new laws do?
Rather than give you a lot of legal jargon, I'll give you some practical examples.
Let's say you own a gym where men and women come in to work out and get in shape.
A man comes in — at least, to all appearances he's a man — but he proceeds to enter the women's locker room to change.
You approach him and say, "Sir, I'm sorry, but you're going into the ladies' room. The men's locker room is across the hallway."
He replies, "First, I'm not 'sir,' I'm 'ma'am.' Second, I have the legal right to use the locker room that I identify with, and I identify as a woman."
If you refuse to refer to him as she/her, you have broken the law and could be fined.
If you refuse to let him use the women's locker room, where the ladies are not expecting a biological male to be changing, nor are they expecting him to shower naked in the stall next to them, you have also broken the law and could be fined.
What if you decide to ask for proof that this man really identifies as a woman? Perhaps he can produce a letter from a doctor saying that he has been diagnosed as transgender and has been undergoing hormone therapy for the last two years? Perhaps he has had sex-change surgery, at least in part?
Sorry, friend, but it is illegal for you even to ask for such proof.
That's how crazy the new laws are.

Louisiana Pushes Back on Obama Transgender Agenda The legal backlash against President Obama’s transgender restroom policy in public schools and universities has begun. Last Friday, the Obama administration sent a “dear colleague” letter to the nation’s educational leaders saying that, under the president’s interpretation of Title IX, schools must open their restrooms, showers, and intimate facilities to members of the opposite sex

American Airlines is fed up with the TSA and taking matters into its own hands

Airlines have had enough of the recent chaos at airports caused by understaffed Transportation Security Administration checkpoints. American Airlines' chief operating officer, Robert Isom, said that executives from all the major US carriers met with the head of the TSA and the US Department of Homeland Security last week to air their grievances over the situation. Isom wrote about the meeting in a letter to employees, dated May 18. "Two words: TSA lines," Isom wrote in the letter. "Right now those words evoke frustration from all of us, as well as our customers who continue to miss flights due to lines that are literally out the door." /

House divided: Members get unruly after vote on LGBT issue It sounded more like a rally or a cheer at a football game than official business conducted on Capitol Hill. Chants of “shame, shame, shame” by Democrats broke out in the U.S. House of Representatives Thursday when pro-LGBT legislation was struck down. GOP lawmakers defeated the measure, by a small margin, which would have nullified a provision in the defense authorization passed in the House Wednesday. Gun Grab Alert! California Senate Approves Sweeping Gun Control Measures

http://undergroundworldnews.com Democrats in the California Senate approved a wide-ranging series of gun control bills Thursday, reviving an effort to significantly tighten California's already strict gun laws in the wake of last year's terrorist attack in San Bernardino. Lawmakers voted to outlaw the sale of assault weapons with easily detachable magazines and to require that people turn in magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds. They also backed a variety of other measures aimed at restricting access to guns and ammunition or limiting the carnage they can inflict. The effort drew a sharp rebuke from gun rights supporters who say squeezing lawful gun owners even further won't make people safer. It also laid bare tense differences in personality and strategy between senior California Democrats. Legislative leaders are rushing to head off a ballot measure advocated by Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, a fellow Democrat, asking voters to enact many of the same policies. They worry the initiative will fail at the ballot box or fire up gun rights supporters, potentially increasing turnout of conservative voters who could give Republicans an edge in close districts. California's assault-weapon ban prohibits new rifles with magazines that can be detached without the aid of tools. To get around the law, gun makers developed so called bullet buttons that allow a shooter to quickly dislodge the magazine using the tip of a bullet or other small tool. "They are designed only to facilitate the maximum destruction of human life," said Sen. Isadore Hall, D-Compton, who co-wrote the bullet-button ban.
