Anti-Israel film opens in TurkeyA Turkish action movie based on the deadly Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound international flotilla is opening in cinemas across Turkey. The anti-Israel "Valley of the Wolves, Palestine" is about a Turkish undercover agent who sets out to hunt down Israelis responsible for the killing of nine activists who died in the real-life attack in May. It opens Friday. The TV series on which the film is based already caused a diplomatic row between Turkey and Israel last year and the film could do the same. I sensed that Glenn was setting himself up to be the politically conservative alternative to Oprah. His new book, "7 Wonders That Will Change Your Life", could have been written by Oprah for sure.
Many self-professing Christians cannot see what Beck is up to but there are those in the unsaved world that seem to be exhibiting more worldview understanding than some in the Christian community. The Business Insider published an article on January 4, 2011 entitled, Glenn Beck's New Year's Plan Sounds A Lot Like Oprah's New Network.

Volcano continues eruption activities in southwestern JapanTOKYO — A volcano continued erupting Thursday on the border between Kagoshima and Miyazaki prefectures, southwestern Japan, spewing columns of smoke up to more than 2,500 meters, the weather agency said. Thousands in Jordan protest, demand PM step downThousands of Jordanian opposition supporters took to the streets Friday in the country's capital demanding the prime minister step down and venting their anger at rising prices, inflation and unemployment. It was the third consecutive Friday of protests following Muslim prayers in Jordan-Brotherhood and Jordan's largest opposition party, swelled the ranks of the demonstrators, massing outside the al-Husseini mosque in Amman and filling the downtown streets with their prayer lines.
