Strange sounds are being heard all over the world lately and the loud booms seem to originate from the sky. A lot of people have witnessed the eerie phenomena in various states across the country and the noises were most recently reported in Wyoming, Cheyenne's CBS News affiliate News Channel 5 reported today.
Cheyenne citizens are wondering what the strange sounds were that they heard resonating from the sky on Saturday night. The town is usually very quiet at night. Just before midnight, witnesses reported hearing odd noises that were echoing throughout the town. Many people thought they were warning sirens sounding.
"I was called by the dispatch center with a siren like noise about 11:30 at night. I had them check the siren system that we control that the dispatch center uses to see if there were any alerts and they showed no alerts," Laramie County Emergency Management Agency Director Rob Cleveland said.
The Laramie County Emergency Management Agency conducted an investigation into the phenomena. They contacted FE Warren, the Air National Guard, Holly Frontier, Union Pacific, and Emergency Management Services. All the organizations said that they weren't responsible for the noise and had no idea what it was.
The sounds are being heard all over the world. Earlier this year, people in Missouri and Tennessee heard similar noises. What is the cause of the sounds? That is one question on a lot of people's minds right now. The question may continue to go unanswered as many officials are left baffled and are scratching their heads.
"At this point, nobody seems to know. The geologists say it's not in the ground, the Air Force says it's not in the air, the astronomers say it's not from space, so we're running out of options," one official said.
Some people think that the weird noises are paranormal related, others say they are extraterrestrial based, and a few folks claim that they have a biblical meaning. Others believe that there is a more scientific explanation or it is a hoax. As of right now, no one seems to have a clear answer as to what these strange sounds are.

-It sounds like a band trying to practice or start up lots of horns any screeching sound along with it
-I definitely will recorded very it is happening a lot at night the first time I heard it actually this may sound silly but I thought I woke up and and told him oh my gosh it sounds like a bunch of flying saucers I've never heard this sound before but then as I listened this is what it sounded like a huge band practicing horns even T. L. had a post on it. They are hearing it in Denver everywhere I am surprised you guys have not heard it yet
