Proverbs 22:3 NLT

A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

OTTUMWA --- Homeowners know they're going to pay taxes. But regulations require those taxes to be fair when compared to other residents. Wapello County Assessor Gary Smith has been authorized to begin door-to-door inspections of all residential properties in the county starting in about ten days. The project may not be completed until December, 2015.
"About five years ago, the State [of Iowa] saw we hadn't [been doing it] and they ordered us to do the revaluation," said Wapello County Supervisor Jerry Parker. According to a release from the assessor, "reappraisal [ensures] each taxpayer is responsible for paying only [their] fair share of the property tax burden" of a community. One feature of the reevaluation that may draw attention: Appraisers would like full access to the property, including the home's interior. "Property owners are asked to cooperate by allowing a complete inspection of their property ...so that a fair and equitable assessment may be determined." And yes, acknowledges Smith, he understands that can feel a little odd. "Somebody knocks on your door and wants to inspect your house; that can feel a bit iffy." That's why they're making announcements in the press. One part of the official statement says: "Data collectors with photo ID ... will make interior and exterior inspections of all residential properties including agricultural dwellings. No estimate of value will be given at the time of inspection."

Here is a real smoking gun exposing the denial of TRUTH from veterans who are
trying to obtain evidences for claims required, medical test results that are not fully
given or outright removed or not given so as to prevent veterans from having the
proofs that the VA requires, yet they already hold, yet deny existence. Our own medical
exam results are being withheld, denied. Nobody wants to ruin a case by going off at some
office, all we DO want is the factual TRUTH and it to be acted upon accordingly, TRUTH as it
is known before Almighty God. Jesus is Lord.
THe "blue button" for the VA record site offers very little now, or only what has been
"washed" so nothing avail for evidences as required. My own has been devoid of most
needed info for a long time, and sure it has for many others also. Got part at least by going thru layers - This is full of lies, they already have been
removing info from access, putting in false information as fact, etc. Very little info is
actually available, and that is only what they want a person to see, not what can be
used to persue a claim or have proofs. THey claim it is only removed certain info for just the claims
themselves, that is an absolute lie. !!!! ONE MORE HASSLE UNTO DEATH, ATTACK ON THE VETERANS OF AMERIKA

New IRS Problem--Illegal Seizures

Once there was a proud, ethically pure agency of the government. An agency who could boast employees like Elliott Ness.

You may have heard of the problems plaguing the Internal Revenue Service. From the time Lois Lerner took the Fifth, respect for the agency has been dropping faster than the temperatures in the Artic. Now it has a new scandal to answer for.

Way back in history, 101 years ago, when the IRS was first created to deal with the graduated income tax, nobody thought much about what happened when a citizen or business failed to remit taxes due. About the time the Depression hit and money got tight, the IRS was allowed to use 'seizure' as a means of last resort to collect large amounts of back taxes an entity may have owed "for years."

To understand the problem fully, keep in mind penalties and interest on unpaid taxes quickly dwarf the amount of taxes actually due. A rather benign amount can quickly become "major" inside of five years.

But the IRS originally had to go through a lengthy process of notification and then actually obtain a judgment in abstentia in order to proceed with the confiscation. That is no longer true. Scores of small business owners, who frequently deposit less than $10,000 into their accounts, are waking up and finding their accounts have been totally absconded by the IRS without proper notification or a court order to execute the seizure but merely "on the suspicion" there may be back taxes due.

Are we still living in America with a Constitution? This is yet another example of the government's bureaucracy avoiding legal procedures and doing what it pleases without any adherence to the "law of the land."

Case in Point today: Carol Hinders. She ran a cash-only restaurant for 40 years. During that time she made her daily deposits at a small branch bank just a block away from her café. She never had any tax problems until last year when two of the IRS's finest showed up on her doorstep and told her they had just seized her entire bank account. She had not been charged with any crime, had no history of not paying her taxes and had not been previously contacted by the IRS as to why she consistently stayed below the $10,000 threshold which would trigger an automatic government report to explain why such a large amount was necessary. All the agents reported to her was the seizure was based on a "suspected attempt to avoid filing the required report for transactions over $10,000."

Ms. Hinders has yet to be charged with a crime but she has gone into debt for legal fees trying to get her seized funds returned.

The IRS has run up hundreds of thousands of such seizures since 2012. Less than one in five cases have been prosecuted but the business owners are unable to recover the funds seized or even find any charges filed against them in a court. The key point to remember here is the government allows the seizing agency to "keep a share of whatever is forfeited." How long before the government's bureaucrats merely do this sort of seizure in order to boost their budget balances?

As of Thursday last week, the IRS responded to public questions about this activity by stating: "We will curtail this practice, focusing instead on cases where the money is believed to have been acquired illegally or seizure is justified by exceptional circumstances."

That is the same sort of heavy-handed tactics that began the Lerner investigation. Go back and explain that last statement to anyone's satisfaction. They are not going to stop this illegal method but instead curtail it? Down to what, on a day that ends in a 'Y' in which it finds it need more money to operate on?

If this practice was wholly above board, why even make a comment about trimming it? And, if in the future they are going to go after funds that have been obtained illegally and not reported, what were they doing before? The explanation leaves a lot of doors open for the scoundrels to slither through.

The regulation about the $10,000 threshold needs to be examined. That threshold is automatic for banks today but also someone, like Ms. Hinders, who consistently deposits less than $10,000 whom the banks think might be engaged in suspicious activity. Into this latter category, 700,000 incidents were reported last year, as banks sought to CYA and stay on the good side of the IRS themselves.

Reported seizures run as much as the $800,000 from a New Mexico car dealership. With today's leasing programs for vehicles and the untimely manner in which payments are made, the business has been making fairly large deposits regularly without hitting the $10,000 threshold. The entire $800,000 was in one bank's accounts for the dealership and is now being held by the IRS. Most seized amounts range between $30,000 and $200,000.

The amounts are immaterial to the problem. Without a ready cash flow, businesses lose to competitors. The government may have taken all the business' liquid assets, but if there is an illegal activity going on nobody has made that determination yet.

Political targeting may actually be the smaller scandal brewing at the powerful IRS. You can be assured the agency will continue its' unwarranted seizures. Elected officials need its' heavy-handed tactics and will condone any activity the agency employs as long as the money keeps arriving.

What is especially frightening is this is the same agency that will be operating Obamacare. Ask them if "care" is in the agency lexicon.

Steve and Tom,
I was just thinking about the Smokey Trucks that had been reported a few years back. Steve I am sure you remember doing a couple of shows when your contacts warned of them up on the Canadian border.

Well the two stories of the some hospitals contemplating not treating Ebola Patients and the stories of folk "disappearing" who were suspected of having it, coupled with the lies of how many are infected in America brought that back to mind. I just posted this comment on the story of the hospitals refusing to treat patients. I just wonder if the Smokey Trucks are in operation right now???

Obama Care at its best? I wonder if that clause is written into the loving health care reform? What they will do is ship you off to a FEMA camp and incinerate you. There are reports of people being "Disappeared" already!! Also years back there were reports of Portable Incinerators called "Smokey Trucks" around the Canadian borders. Hummmm!!!
